DSC_6600-night scene 103
I like this picture because of all the colorful lights. Normally you just see yellow or orange lights in a city but this picture shows a lot of other colors. The blue shining up the sides up of the buildings looks really cool, and the red lights glowing from some of the tops of the buildings contrast that.

This picture is from the same photographer as the previous post, and I like this one just as much. I love the river and the bridge across, and all the dots of light scattered throughout the city. The city just seems to come alive and night, and these aerial shots are a great way to capture that.

This guy takes some really cool photos. He's got an unfair advantage though, he flies around in a helicoptor so he gets the coolest angles on the city. I love how the streets run like rivers through the city with the skyscrapers towering over everthing, but yet still being able to see the tops of all the buildings. It's just such an unsual angle to see a city from that it makes it really unique and very cool.

Here is yet another example of a city at night. All the lights glowing throughout the streets makes a city come to life. I love the bright streets running through all the dark buildings of the town.

In this photo, I like how all the city lights are low and at the base fo the building, and they fade as your eyes move towards the sky. Also, the light dims as you drop your eyes down into the blurry water. I really like how the reflection looks, its not crystal clear at all, but it creates an abstract reflection of the city above it.

Here is another pretty cool picture of some car lights. I really like the way the white headlights are coming down the left, and the red lights are completely seperate coming down the right. I like the angle of the shot as well. Looking down over the freeway at the oncoming traffic is pretty cool.

Lately I've been really in to night photography. I like the way lights glow in the night, like car lights. I decided to take pictures like the one above with a long shutter speed to capture the light trail of the cars. I really like how everything around the streaming lights and car are still, but you see the blur of the car.
